1961: The Beatles become more and more local heroes. 92 nights in a row they play on the stage of the Top Ten: “Mach Schau!” They are the backing band of the great Tony Sheridan and they record their first real single. Producer of “My Bonnie” is Bert Kaempfert.more
1962: On the 13th of April the legendary Star Club opens its doors in the Grosse Freiheit 39. The Beatles play on the opening night. They have two more engagements the same year, now with Ringo Starr on drums and their famous “moptops”!more
